Yn Cynnwys y Canopi / Containing the CanopyOnnen, helyg a ffawydd Ash, willow and beech 20 x 18 x 35cm Roeddwn i eisiau dangos harddwch naturiol rhannau uchaf y goeden ffawydd drwy drefnu brigau a blagur or canopi mewn ffurf reolaidd a fyddai hefyd yn adlewyrchu coetir wedii blannun agos. I wanted to show the natural beauty of the highest parts of the beech tree by arranging twigs and buds from the canopy in a regular form that would also reflect a closely planted woodland.

The films are projected within the installation and physically incorporated through processed film strips that are woven around and suspended between the sculptures

The woven shell-like form with the steam bent back is designed as a functional seat with strong sculptural aesthetics

When you crouch down at the shoreline on a still day
