Daffodil for MarchApproximately 5 x 5 watercolor on 140lb watercolor paper, mounted on bright white archival matte board, framed in a 12x12 white composite frame. The flower of the month for March is the Daffodil. I chose to paint the Daffodil in two styles, one on cyanotype and one abstractly. The Daffodil represents new beginnings and prosperity. Most often the Daffodil's bloom signals to us that spring is right around the corner.
